Snikkr's ability to integrate with your device's built-in calendar and contact applications varies widely by platform.

On the iPhone, Snikkr allows you to see your contacts when you are trying to get directions to place, or find an address. This allows you to type just a few characters of a contact's name or address in order to select it as a destination, saving you lots of remembering, copying and pasting, and retyping.

The BlackBerry platform supports this integration, but also allows Snikkr to display any upcoming calendar events (that have addresses) for you to view on the map. Also, BlackBerry allows Snikkr to add its own menu items to the built-in calendar and contact applications. When you are in those applications, you can bring up the full menu, and select a Snikkr menu command like "Show on Map" or "Get Directions".
